Neitherland
Herbals Tinctures
We tinture
our fresh dried herbs in 80 proof alcohol in a standard 1:5 ratio, then
decant into 1 oz amber dropper bottles. For best shelf-life, store in
cool place out of direct light.
The
usual traditional adult tincture dosage is two
droppersfull, twice a day (one dropperful for a child of 6-12
years; half dropper for 2-6 years) , until
symtoms lessen or cease.
Tinctures may be taken directly or added to a hot or cold
beverage.
If you
don't
wish to injest alcohol, add the drops to hot water and stir
gently - letting the alcohol
evaporate. Sip when cool.

Balms, Creams & Lotions
The
balms
and creams made by Neitherland Herbals have a base of
herbal infused
de-odorized jojoba oil
blended into filtered beeswax. Although jojoba oil has
a longer shelf-life than other carrier oils, Orris Root is added to
the oil infusions as
an additional natural preservative.
Jojoba
oil is
the liquid wax produced in the seed of the jojoba plant, a
shrub native to southern Arizona. The liquid obtained from pressing
the seeds is the only vegetable matter composed of liquid wax.
Neitherland
Herbals' balms and
creams
have a slight earthy scent, that dissipates
when used.

Honey & Beeswax
Lip Balms
Neitherland
Herbals lip balms base is
fundamentally the same as our other balms, using Comfrey and
Calendula infused oils. To this base we have blended in honey
from
Arizona's Sonoran Desert. This comes from cactus blossoms and the
blossoms from flowering desert plants and trees.
While the beeswax helps protect your lips from the drying effects of
wind and sun, Comfrey and Calendula are traditionally used to help heal
and soothe
dry cracked skin
In addition to our natural unflavored lip balm, we offer
flavor-scented unsweetened varieties.

Neitherland Herbals
Teas
One
of the most
traditional ways to use herbs for medicinal purposes, is in an infusion
- commonally called a "tea". Neitherland Herbals has combined
several herbs for each remedy in convenient-to-use stringed teabags. If
a
sweeter cup of tea is your "cup of tea", add a little honey to taste.
Traditional dosage is one
cup of tea, up to three times a day, until
symptoms lessen or cease

Maintenance
Capsules
There
are many ailments which need to be controlled on a continuing daily
basis, including high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and blood
pressure.
One of the simplest traditional ways to do this is through the use of
encapsluated herbs themselves. Our caps contain just pure powdered herb
blends.
Traditional dosage is two capsules per day
A word to our vegan
and vegetarian customers, we use vegetable caps rather than gel caps! .
